The N-485-PCI-2 is an RS485 interface located between the computer and the access control panels. It converts the RS232 data coming from the PC into RS485 data. Comes with a 3' (0.9 m) 9-pin cable for connection to the PC, cable can be extended to within RS232 maximum distance. For use with N-485-API-2, N-1000-III, N-1000-IV, NS2 or NS2+ panel. Dimensions:5.5" H x 3.875" W x 2" D (13.97 cm H x 9.843 cm W x 5.08 cm D). ALL485 UNITS IN THE SYSTEM MUST HAVE THE SAME VERSION FIRMWARE.
