Category 3 Multipair Cables

Category 3 Multipair Cable consists of 24AWG (0.5mm) solid copper conductors insulated with PVC. It is a generalpurpose high performance cable used for voice, ‘in building’ signaling and Local Area Network applications specified up to 16MHz.
Please refer to structured cabling systems performance specifications for distances supported by various data applications.Typically this cable is used to present PBX and voice requirements to the telephone companies’ incoming services, through a suitable voice patch.
The Category 3 Multipair Cables meet and exceed attenuation and NEXT requirements in ISO/IEC 11801 (2002) and TIA/EIA-568B.2 (2002) Commercial Building Wiring Standard riser cable section for Category 3.
